Thankfully prior to hurting my foot, I had planted most of
my garden. I made it out there to take a
few pictures for a quick garden tour.
In the greenhouse I have several greenhouse cucumber plants
in a large container. I got a late start
on these. Otherwise we could have been
eating delicious cucumbers all winter.
It has done great, and I will definitely plant it again next year.
My garlic and onions have another couple of months to go
before they are ready to be harvested.
Yes, they are in desperate need of weeding. I hope to get to that next week.
Also in the greenhouse are my new fruit trees. I have three cherry trees as well as dwarf
citrus trees. I opted for a collection
of citrus with gave me a lime tree, an orange tree, and a second lemon tree.
I have the usual pepper and tomato plants. After a colder and longer winter, the pepper
plants are off to a slow start. I expect
them to catch up soon though. I am
growing four types of tomatoes this year:
two large heirloom and two small types.
The peppers are a large mixture.
Finally I have a large assortment of herbs this year. Some are being grown in parts and others are
tucked among the vegetable plants. I
decided to focus heavily on companion planting this year. It will be an interesting experiment.

Rather weirdly I've also now injured myself. Torn ligaments in my calf muscle. Not sure how bad it is, resting leg egg, physio on Tuesday. I hope it's not bad. I'm already bored with it! It was scary, a giant pop when it went, I was merely crossing a road although I had walked a lot that day.
garden news sound great, mine is looking good. Need to get my seedlings acclimatised outdoors.
