I shared on A New Home in the Country about the start of construction on our new home. The first phase involved digging which thrilled the chickens. As the construction crew dug, earthworms were unearthed. The chickens happily wandered around eating worms.
I am pretty sure the chickens thought this was the best week ever. Someone else was doing all of the work, and all they had to do was show up and enjoy the buffet!
