April Showers might bring May Flowers, but right now they
just bring a flooded garden. My row of
garden peas is under water with more rain expected today. I can only hope the ground dries out before
they drown.
Gardening is always a gamble. You cannot control the weather. This part of the garden is in a lower area so
planting here is iffy. Too little rain means
the ground is hard. Too much rain nets
me what you see above. I guess I am a
risk taker since I am never discouraged enough to give up on gardening. I might need a boat to pick peas next week though!

If the peas don't float away, you should be fine. I have not planted anything yet since the threat of frost is still real.
