Now that W and I both work from home, and since my crochet business has turned into a full-time job, I am finding that I need to plan ahead. Last week I took a tip from Rhonda at If You Do Stuff. The day after grocery shopping I prepped the vegetables that I bought by washing and slicing them as well as some from the garden. I also mixed up some chipotle ranch dressing by the Pioneer Woman.
When I wanted a snack, it was easy to reach into the fridge and grab the veggies and dip. Rather than messing up a cutting board and knife every time I wanted a healthy snack, I could just remove the already prepped snack. I will definitely be doing this more in the future.
